The Classroom Experience
Very young children must use their senses to develop higher thinking skills, creativity, and understanding of their surroundings. The relationship with the children is based in learning, safety, and a very stimulating environment which promotes:

Creative arts and literacy is embedded throughout the day and within the play experiences provided. The development of literacy knowledge is learned through a pleasurable experiences provided for the young child during play. Direct constant interaction with books, language, gross, and fine motor experiences is paramount to a child’s development of literacy knowledge and skill. Through an authentic assessments to observe and assess each child’s play, and a plan that supports she/he total development. Dramatic play is an important experience for the child and supports the acquisition of cognitive, social, emotional, and language skills and knowledge, all of which are vital for later school success.
The classroom space is designed for activities that enable children to feel safe and secure, attending not only their personal needs, but educational requirements as well. Food, play and learning sections are provided. The materials meet children’s needs for exploration and active learning. Our classroom is divided into interest areas where they can make emotional and educational connections with themselves, their peers and adults. The playground outside is safe with camera monitored at all times.
