The state fo the art designed classroom is an environment that promotes children's learning, curiosity and discovery. The educational philosophy includes preparation of students for Elementary School with emphases on 21st century learning skills. Learning objectives include cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional in preparation for advanced grades. Schedule, routines, and plans are created to allow time for child-initiated and teacher-directed learning. Young children learn literacy, math, science, and technology by lessons, activities and materials to allow them to explore their creativity. The activities are planned in a format to facilitate memory in learning. Practical processes are created using established rubrics for observing and assessing children. Children interact and learn individually, in small groups, and with the entire class. School encourages partnerships with families to support children’s learning.
